Kaiserganj constituency in Uttar Pradesh is currently represented by Brij Bhushan. The BJP dropped him for the ongoing Lok Sabha polls in the wake of the sexual harassment allegations levelled against him by several women wrestlers and fielded his son Karan Bhushan Singh.
The party has instead nominated his son, Karan Bhushan Singh, as the candidate for the Kaiserganj Lok Sabha seat. Karan, Brij Bhushan’s younger son, is a national player in double trap shooting. Karan holds a BBA and an LLB, along with a diploma in business management from Australia.
He is currently the president of the UP Wrestling Association and is making his debut in the Lok Sabha elections. His elder brother, Prateek Bhushan, is a BJP MLA from Gonda Sadar.
