Excitement builds around Manchu Vishnu’s highly anticipated mythological film ‘Kannappa’. The film made its debut at the Cannes Film Festival. The Manchu family, along with renowned choreographer Prabhu Deva, graced the prestigious Cannes film festival and screened the teaser of ‘Kannappa’.
Manchu Vishnu shared a series of pictures from the event and shared the experience on his social media platforms. Dropping the same, the actor wrote, “We showcased the teaser of “Kannappa” here in Cannes, and it received an overwhelmingly positive response! International distributors, local Indians, and everyone who saw it absolutely loved it. I am excited and have butterflies in my stomach after witnessing such fantastic reactions.”
Adding to the anticipation, Manchu Vishnu dropped an exciting announcement on the teaser’s release date, revealing that for audiences in India, the film’s teaser will be released worldwide on June 13. But before that, the actor decided to give a special treat to his beloved fans by showcasing the Telugu version of the teaser in Hyderabad at a popular theater for a selected audience that has been constantly encouraging Kannappa and supporting him throughout his journey.
‘Kannappa’ is a dream project for Manchu Vishnu, who takes on the lead role, portraying the film’s titular character, a devoted follower of Lord Ram. Apart from Vishnu, the fantasy drama stars a stellar ensemble cast, including Prabhas, Akshay Kumar, Mohan Lal, Kajal Aggarwal, Shiva Rajkumar, Madhubala, Brahmanandam, and many other celebrities in pivotal roles.
Helmed by Mukesh Kumar Singh, the film is jointly backed by the banners of 24 Frames Factory and AVA Entertainments. Mani Sharma and Stephen Devassy’s music adds another layer to the cinematic experience.
