Film stars often showcase their generosity in the form of donations and charitable activities for various social causes and temples. The latest such news we hear is that Tollywood actor NTR donated 12.5 lakhs towards the construction of a temple in the village of Cheyyeru in Konaseema district of Andhra Pradesh. According to reports, NTR donated the sum for the Bhadrakali Sametha Veerabhadra Swamy temple in the name of his mother Shalini, wife Pranathi, and his two kids, Abhay and Bhargav. Previously, he donated for several social activities.
Ahead of his birthday on this 20th, NTR offered a donation for the construction of the temple and asked the temple authorities to keep his charity under wraps. But the information got leaked to the media through close sources near the temple. NTR is expected to visit the shrine some time in the future after the completion of the construction. He is currently busy shooting for his upcoming film Devara: Part 1, which is set for release on October 10th.
Meanwhile, NTR’s fans are gearing up to celebrate his birthday in a grand manner all over the Telugu States. They are planning various charity activities on May 20th in different districts. NTR is expected to stay away from shooting on that day and spend time with his family and friends.
Apart from Devara, NTR has Hrithik Roshan’s War 2 and Prashanth Neel’s Dragon. He has already started shooting for War 2, and filming for Dragon is expected to commence later this year. The makers of Dragon are likely to come up with an update on his birthday this Monday. The first single from Devara is also going to make a splash one day before his birthday.
