Asserting that the NDA alliance is winning in these polls and forming a new government in Andhra Pradesh, Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan said that a big revolution is coming in the state against YCP. He made it clear that people of AP are going to `switch off’ YCP’s fans.
In an interview, he said the three parties are mainly focusing on the state to restore democracy and bring the state back into development. He alleged that Chief Minister Jaganmohan Reddy is running a ‘one-man rule’, destroying institutions and doing politics of revenge.
`We want to mainly focus on reviving Branch AP providing a balance between development and welfare. We want to create wealth, build capital and speed up the Polavaram project. We want to ensure that law and order should be strong in the state’, he added.
According to Pawan Kalyan there are three top failures of the YCP government. First, making the youth of AP unemployed. The state has turned into a drug capital and the state has turned into a drug capital. Moreover the crime rate is also increasing. Government has snubbed youth creativity and ambition by confining them to a mere Rs 5,000 voluntary employment, which is less then NREGA daily wage.
Secondly, the government cheated women by monopolizing alcohol instead of banning it. Jagan looted Rs.41,000 crore wealth at the risk of health and lives of lakhs of people.
Thirdly, Jagan has created an atmosphere of confusion, fear and uncertainty in the state. Land Acquisition Act, three Capitals, fear among Investors, uncompleted Polavaram Project, threatening Government Employees, (including IAS/IPS), writing letters against CJI are some of his major failures.
Jana Sena chief expressed confidence that the double engine government can strive for creation of more wealth, thus leading to more growth, without leaving behind any section of society.
“I want to create a strong law and order. Secondly, investments should be made for the youth of the state. A skill census is needed in the state for a better understanding of the aspirations of the youth. We want to provide a better quality of life to everyone. Let’s focus on education and jobs. I want to create an environment where people’s personal freedoms and fundamental rights are not violated. We will give every citizen a chance to grow and develop”, he added.
