Following the Election Commission’s announcement regarding an increased polling percentage compared to previous elections, AP Minister Ambati Rambabu offered intriguing insights. He characterized the voter turnout at polling stations the previous day as a favorable indication, asserting that they all cast their votes for CM Jagan.
Rambabu noted a shift in perspective, stating that in the past, an increase in vote share was construed as an anti-government sentiment. However, this time, he emphasized the significant participation of women, with 70 percent of them favoring the fan symbol, signaling support for CM Jagan.
Highlighting the significance of these elections held after five years of CM Jagan’s tenure, Rambabu expressed surprise at the substantial turnout, particularly among those who have experienced Jagan’s governance firsthand. He elaborated on the enthusiastic participation of women and the elderly, who queued up at polling booths from early morning, attributing their determination to vote for Jagan as evident from their actions on the previous day.
