Now, adding to the anticipation, Rashmika bagged another big project in Hindi as the leading lady opposite Salman Khan in his upcoming project ‘Sikandar.’
Pan-Indian actress Rashmika Mandanna has recently signed Salman Khan’s highly anticipated film ‘Sikandar’, helmed by Maverick director A.R. Murugadoss. Dropping the same, the actress took to her Instagram to share this exciting update and wrote, “You guys for a long time have been asking me for the next update, and here it is… Surprise!! I am truly grateful and honored to be a part of #Sikandar.”
The makers took to their social media handles and announced @iamRashmika as the female lead for the film and wrote, “Welcoming the fabulous Rashmika Mandanna to star opposite @BeingSalmanKhan in #Sikandar! Can’t wait for their on-screen magic to unfold on EID 2025!”
The film marks the debut collaboration between Rashmika Mandanna and Bollywood actor Salman Khan. Scheduled to be released on Eid 2025, ‘Sikandar’ will be going on floors in 2024.
On the work front, Salman Khan was last seen in ‘Tiger 3’, which is the third installment of the Tiger franchise, helmed by Maneesh Sharma.
Meanwhile, Rashmika Mandanna is currently gearing up for the most anticipated film ‘Pushpa 2: The Rule’ alongside Allu Arjun, which is slated to release on August 15. The actress will also appear in Dhanush’s ‘Kubera’, Vicky Kaushal’s ‘Chaava’, and ‘The Girlfriend’, helmed by Rahul.
