Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday held a massive roadshow in Vijayawada in support of the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) candidates for Andhra Pradesh Assembly and Lok Sabha elections, on Wednesday evening.
From the Municipal Stadium in Vijayawada Bandar Road, the Prime Minister conducted the roadshow while greeting the people from the campaign vehicle. TDP chief and former chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu and Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan also accompanied him in the roadshow.
Modi went ahead after greeting thousands of supporters and activists from three alliance parties. The road show continued for about one hour from 7 PM onwards, covering a distance of 1.8 km.
Prime Minister Modi expressed happiness towards the overwhelming response to this road show on Twitter.Modi mentioned that he participated in an unforgettable roadshow with Chandrababu Naidu and Pawan Kalyan in Vijayawada.
After traveling across AP for the past few days, he asserted that “I am confident that people are voting for the NDA in large numbers”. He said that they have the support of women and young voters.
PM Modi reminded that in the past, BJP and TDP worked together in AP. Stating that both the parties are having a strong alliance and are committed to future development of the state, he added that it is further strengthened with the active participation by the Jana Sena Party.
PM Modi expressed confidence that this alliance has the ability to fulfill the aspirations of the people. Modi, Chandrababu and Pawan went ahead in the road show while saluting the people on both sides of the road.
The farmers of the Amaravati capital region expressed their joy on the road show of Modi, Chandrababu and Pawan. The farmers and women of the capital came in large numbers to the Benz circle greeting three leaders and expressed hope that only with the victory of the alliance, justice will be done for Amaravati and AP.
Candidates of NDA Lok Sabha and Legislative Assembly also participated in the road show. After the end of the roadshow, Modi, Chandrababu and Pawan had a private meeting in the green room. Modi seems to have expressed satisfaction with the alliance Josh in the state.
Modi expressed happiness that the road show was a success. The leaders discussed the election campaign and the latest situation. According to reports, Modi has told Chandrababu and Pawan Kalyan that his reports indicate the alliance is set to come to power in the state.
Alliance leaders claimed that Modi had said that the alliance would win more seats than expected as people are seen as very angry and dissatisfied with Jagan’s government.
