YS Sharmila vehemently denied allegations of soliciting a Rs 1000 crore project from CM YS Jagan, challenging anyone to prove otherwise, and even offering to exit politics if proven wrong. Speaking at a press conference in Kadapa, the AP Congress chief criticized YSRCP leaders for spreading false propaganda against her.

Sharmila accused Jagan and his party of resorting to deceitful tactics to garner political favors, alleging that those close to him were opportunistic and manipulative. She also condemned Jagan’s allegations regarding Reliance’s involvement in YSR’s demise, while accusing Chandrababu of colluding with the BJP to the detriment of Andhra Pradesh’s interests.

Regarding the Polavaram project, Sharmila questioned the sincerity of YSRCP leaders who claimed to expedite its completion within two years, pointing out the lack of progress in the past five years. She further accused Jagan of implicating YSR in the CBI chargesheet and criticized YSRCP’s Avinash Reddy for making baseless allegations against her husband, Anil. Sharmila refuted claims of Anil meeting BJP leaders and criticized the nocturnal political maneuvers of figures like Avinash Reddy.
