Actors Dhanush and Rashmika Mandanna starrer ‘Kubera’ begins its shooting. Fans have been eagerly anticipating the updates since the announcement of the collaboration between renowned actor Dhanush and talented filmmaker Sekhar Kammula last year. Adding to the excitement, the makers recently unveiled the first-look poster for Dhanush with the title.
Earlier, shooting for Kubera began in Mumbai with the main leads. Recently, Rashmika posted a story on her Instagram and shared a photo with the caption, “Anddddd it’s packup! #Kubera”. A video has been doing the rounds on the internet where Rashmika and Dhanush were spotted on the sets of Kubera. Rashmika was wearing a light green-colored chudidhar in the video, while Dhanush was dressed in a suit.
Speaking more about Kubera, the film, which is set against the backdrop of Dharavi in Mumbai, is helmed by Sekhar Kammula. Produced by esteemed production house Amigos Creations, in collaboration with Suneil Narang under Sree Venkateswara Cinemas LLP. Apart from the main leads, the film boasts a stellar cast featuring Akkineni Nagarjuna, Jim Sarbh, and other actors in pivotal roles.
Adding to the anticipation is the musical genius of Devi Sri Prasad, who is helming the music direction for this flick. Backed by a gripping narrative and an impeccable direction, Kubera is slated for a bilingual release in Telugu and Tamil in 2024.
On the work front, apart from Kubera, Dhanush is currently gearing up for his directorial debut with an action-thriller titled ‘Raayan’. The actor will also be seen in the much-awaited upcoming biopic ‘Ilayaraja’, helmed by Arun Matheswaran.
Meanwhile, Rashmika Mandanna is gearing up for her highly anticipated release of ‘Pushpa 2: The Rule’, alongside Allu Arjun. Her upcoming endeavors also include The Girlfriend, Rainbow, and Chaava.
