Jana Sena party chief Pawan Kalyan participated in the Varahi Vijayabheri assembly held at Rajanagaram in East Godavari district. Also present at the meeting was BJP candidate Purandeswari, contesting for the Rajahmundry Lok Sabha seat.
Addressing the gathering, Pawan Kalyan expressed concern over indirect remarks made by students of Kakinada’s Aditya College regarding alleged harassment of a prominent figure. He urged caution on the part of the state’s leadership, warning of potential grievances among the youth and advocating for change. He emphasized the NDA alliance’s commitment to empowering the new generation at both national and state levels.
Pawan Kalyan extended his best wishes to Purandeswari, contesting for the Rajahmundry parliamentary seat, and Battula Balaramakrishna, the Janasena candidate running for the Rajanagaram assembly seat under the glass symbol. He acknowledged and respected TDP leaders KS Jawahar and Venkataramana Chowdary.
Discussing local issues, Pawan Kalyan highlighted concerns about governance under Jakkampudi Raja, emphasizing the need for effective leadership. Pawan Kalyan expressed fondness for the Jakkampudi family but lamented the issues faced by Rajanagaram, including allegations of corruption, drug-related problems, and illegal sand mining. He likened the current situation to past violent incidents in Hyderabad’s Old City, attributing it to poor governance choices.
He concluded by advocating for change through the NDA alliance’s potential victory, asserting it as the remedy for addressing issues caused by alleged misconduct under the YSRCP administration.
