Sunitha Narreddy, the daughter of YS Vivekananda Reddy, expressed her frustration at the lack of justice in her father’s murder case over the past five years. “There is much that the CBI needs to address regarding this case,” she stated during a press conference in Hyderabad. Presenting a detailed PowerPoint presentation on the Viveka murder case, she highlighted the pressure on the CBI.
Sunitha disclosed significant evidence, including Google Takeout and IPDR data, along with call records from the night of the murder and the following morning. She implicated MP Avinash with A1 accused Erra Gangireddy and A3 Umashankar in the Viveka murder case, providing photographic evidence of Avinash and his father Bhaskar Reddy with Kiran Yadav, the younger brother of another accused, Sunil Yadav. Details of phone calls between Umashankar Reddy and Avinash were also revealed.
Sunitha highlighted the close relationship between MV Krishna Reddy and Viveka, as well as phone communication between Sivasankar Reddy and Viveka, contrasting Avinash’s claim of unfamiliarity with them. She recounted an incident days before the murder where Viveka appeared to disregard Avinash’s remarks onstage.
In her presentation, she referenced visuals of Umashankar Reddy near Viveka’s residence, media reports following the murder, and comments from YSRCP leaders. “Five years ago, I fought this battle alone, but now I’m receiving support from people in the Telugu states. These demonstrations are to ensure the truth is known,” she affirmed.
