On Monday, the Rouse Avenue court ordered BRS MLC Kavitha to nine-day judicial custody in connection with the Delhi liquor scam case. The court extended her remand until May 23. Following the court’s decision, she was shifted to Tihar jail by the police.
Upon exiting the court, Kavitha commented on the statements made by BJP leaders outside, stating… What the BJP leaders are saying outside… The CBI officials are asking… No new questions are being asked. This is not CBI custody. It is BJP’s custody.
