Hyderabad: Former Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao has been accused of corrupting the power sector by Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka during his speech at the Chevella Sabha. Vikramarka lamented the misinformation spread on stage, asserting that despite the state’s surplus budget, it now finds itself burdened with a staggering debt of Rs 7 lakh crore.
Furthermore, Bhatti Vikramarka criticized the inefficiency of the Kaleshwaram project, claiming it fails to provide water to even a single acre of land. He alleged that the state spends Rs 10,000 crore annually on electricity bills.
