At the Public Ashirvad Sabha of BRS, Chevella on Saturday, he expressed concern over the central government’s tactics of using investigating agencies as a means of political intimidation. “Is this what politics has come to?” he questioned, alluding to the former Chief Minister KCR and the BJP’s approach resembling that of Modi or the ED.

He highlighted the historical support of individuals contesting the Chevella Lok Sabha seat from both the BJP and the Congress, who were previously aligned with their party. “We welcomed them when they were unknown to us, only to see them switch sides for power and position,” he lamented, explaining the reasons behind BRS’s exclusion.

Reflecting on Telangana’s development post-formation, he criticized the BJP for failing to address the needs of various communities. “In the 10 years of BJP rule, not a single Navodaya school or railway coach factory in Kazipet has been established,” he stated, questioning the party’s track record in providing educational and infrastructural development.

He also pointed out the challenges faced by the public, such as rising fuel prices. Despite pressure from Prime Minister Narendra Modi to install meters for motors in Telangana, he affirmed their resilience in the face of adversity, refusing to succumb to such demands.”
