TDP leader Chandrababu Naidu has assured that volunteers will retain their positions even after TDP assumes power. Addressing the gathering today, he announced that the honorarium for volunteers has been raised from Rs. 5,000 to Rs. 10,000 following the coalition government’s establishment. Naidu reiterated the party’s commitment to the volunteer system, emphasizing its importance in serving the people.
During the Panchanga Sravanam program held at the TDP office, Chandrababu reaffirmed his support for volunteers. He expressed concern over recent reports of volunteer resignations under pressure and criticized the suggestion that the volunteer system might be discontinued. He questioned whether the system had been abolished or if any undisclosed government order had been issued to that effect, insinuating political motives behind such actions.
Chandrababu criticized Jagan’s alleged opportunistic politics, particularly his promise to abolish the volunteer system if re-elected as CM. He condemned the coercion of volunteers to resign and join the YSRCP, warning of potential legal consequences for those involved in wrongdoing. Naidu urged volunteers to expose Jagan’s alleged misconduct and assured them of skill development opportunities and employment prospects under the TDP administration.
