MP Avinash Reddy was the first to respond to YS Sharmila’s harsh allegations suggesting his involvement in Viveka’s assassination. He expressed his dismay at her words, describing them as deeply distressing. He deferred further comment on the matter to her judgment.
“People can spread soot, sprinkle mud… They can speak as they please… I entrust it to their discretion,” Avinash Reddy remarked, indicating his reluctance to engage further.
He emphasized the importance of exercising wisdom and discretion in discussions, stating, “Feel free to talk as much as you like… But as human beings, we ought to possess some sense and prudence… There should be a modicum of common sense.”
