Purandeswari, the BJP’s AP president, delivered noteworthy remarks regarding the TDP-Janasena-BJP alliance at the BJP state office in Vijayawada. During the event, individuals from diverse backgrounds joined the BJP, and Purandeswari extended invitations to them by presenting party scarves. She emphasized that the decision to align with the TDP was made by party elders, considering it a historic necessity akin to a “triveni confluence.”
Purandeswari criticized the YSRCP government for its perceived overreach into various sectors, alleging instances of voter fraud and significant debts accrued by the administration. She highlighted the mortgage of public assets like the secretariat, liquor, mines, government buildings, and lands, questioning the legality of such actions. Purandeswari expressed frustration at what she perceived as the YSRCP government’s neglect across multiple domains, particularly citing concerns about the quality of liquor distributed to citizens.
