The alliance between the BJP-TDP and Jana Sena parties in Andhra Pradesh has been confirmed, with AP BJP chief Purandeswari expressing her satisfaction with the development. “It’s positive that BJP has forged an alliance with TDP-Jana Sena, bringing great joy,” she remarked. Purandeswari emphasized that such alliances in AP aim to combat adversities, drawing parallels with Lord Rama seeking help from allies for protection. “Today, the state faces similar challenges,” she added.
She noted that the BJP national leadership has decided on alliances, with clarity on seat adjustments expected soon. Purandeswari, attending the inauguration of BJP’s campaign chariots in Vijayawada, highlighted discussions held with TDP and Jana Sena leaders. “We’re pleased the alliance has been confirmed. Seat allocations will be finalized shortly,” she stated, assuring that party workers would respect leadership decisions for the state’s benefit.
