The trailer for the film “Maidaan,” starring Ajay Devgn, was released in Mumbai. The movie depicts the life of Syed Abdul Rahim, the former coach of the Indian national football team, known for his contributions to modern Indian football. Despite facing challenges during production, the film is set for release in April, coinciding with Eid.
Helmed by Amit Ravindernath Sharma, the film also features Priyamani, Gajraj Rao, and Rudranil Ghosh. Produced by Zee Studios, Boney Kapoor, Arunava Joy Sengupta, and Akash Chawla, with music by AR Rahman, “Maidaan” is scheduled for a worldwide theatrical release in 2024.
