Amaravati: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy allocated funds today for the October-December 2023 quarter of the Jagananna Vidya Deevena Scheme. The funds were disbursed by CM Jagan during a ceremony held at Pamarru in Krishna district, initiated by pressing a button. Out of the 9.45 lakh students enrolled across the state, 93 percent are currently benefiting from the Vidya Deevena scheme.
A total of Rs 708 crore has been allocated for the October-December 2023 quarter, with a cumulative disbursement of Rs 12,609 crore over the past 57 months to the accounts of eligible students. Furthermore, CM Jagan announced that Rs 4,275 crore has already been distributed through the Vasathi Deevena initiative, with an additional Rs 1,100 crore slated for release in April under the same scheme.
