Chairman of the Andhra Pradesh Film, TV, and Drama Development Corporation, Posani Krishna Murali, has sparked controversy with his remarks targeting TDP leader Chandrababu Naidu and Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan. Posani Krishna Murali criticized Pawan Kalyan for allegedly urging the Kapu community, whom he once united, to support the TDP, likening it to betrayal. He condemned Pawan Kalyan’s previous statements regarding women trafficking in Andhra Pradesh, calling them unfounded and questioning their credibility.
Murali asserted that Kalyan’s accusations were baseless, highlighting the contentment of women in AP’s villages and demanding a prompt apology from him to the women of the state, especially those from the Kapu community. He demanded Pawan Kalyan to tender an apology to the Kapu women. Posani Krishna Murali also directed sharp criticism towards TDP leader Chandrababu Naidu, claiming insider knowledge of undisclosed events.
He alleged that Mohan Babu had been deceived, and a prestigious company was unlawfully acquired. Murali challenged Naidu’s veracity, suggesting a lie detector test to settle the matter definitively. He went further, daring Naidu to publicly strike him with a slipper if the accusations were proven false, indicating his confidence in the validity of his claims.
