Hyderabad: MLC Kalvakuntla Kavitha from BRS urged for the immediate withdrawal of GO No. 3 in Telangana, which she claimed jeopardized women’s job security. She disclosed having penned a letter to Senior Congress leader Sonia Gandhi and AICC president Mallikarjun Kharge, urging them to instruct Chief Minister Revanth Reddy to address this matter.
Addressing the media on Monday, Kavitha accused the Congress party, which had promised to empower women through “Indiramma’s reign,” of severely mistreating the girl child. She criticized the state government for allegedly infringing upon women’s job opportunities, particularly objecting to the decision to implement parallel reservations without roster points.
