The Andhra Pradesh government has approached the Supreme Court seeking the cancellation of the bail granted to TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu in the skill development case. However, the hearing on this petition has been postponed once again. Siddharth Luthra, representing Chandrababu’s legal team, requested the apex court to defer the hearing as senior advocate Harish Salve was unavailable, seeking a three-week extension.
The counsel for the Andhra Pradesh CID, Ranjith Kumar, countered, noting that a similar delay occurred in filing the counter previously and now another adjournment was being sought. Ranjith Kumar urged the apex court to promptly schedule the next hearing, emphasizing that the counter had already been filed on behalf of Chandrababu.
