Natural Star Nani hit a purple patch after scoring back-to-back hits last year with Dasara and Hi Nanna. Both these films emerged as blockbusters in all territories and consolidated Nani’s position in the second tier. He is currently busy shooting for ‘Ante Sundaraniki’ fame director Vivek Athreya’s next outing ‘Saripoda Sanivaram’. This film has already been a talking point in trade circles.
Meanwhile, there have been numerous speculations on his future projects as a host of directors like Trivikram Srinivas, Karthik Subbaraj, Cibi Chakraborty, Sujeeth, Srikanth Odela and Balagam Venu are said to be in plans to work with Nani. Out of all these options, Nani has finally picked a director for his next film.
As per the latest reports, Nani has agreed to work with Saaho fame director Sujeeth for a stylish commercial entertainer that will start rolling in a couple of months.
An official announcement about this crazy combination is likely to be out on Nani’s birthday this 24th. It is heard that Nani is mighty pleased with the script narrated by Sujeeth in the first sitting and immediately gave the green signal to go ahead with the post-production works.
Sujeeth is presently working with Pawan Kalyan for OG. The film is slated for release in September. But, he will start directing Nani’s film in Summer of this year. DVV Danayya will once again bankroll Sujeeth’s film and Nani is expected to portray another novel character for the first time in his career.
