Khammam: Telangana’s Minister for Revenue and Information, Ponguleti Srinivasa Reddy, commended the dedication and hard work of Telugu Desam Party (TDP) leaders and activists for contributing to the success of the Congress party in recent elections. During his visit to the TDP office in Khammam town, he expressed gratitude to Chandrababu Naidu, TDP’s president, and Nara Lokesh for their support in 10 constituencies in Khammam district.
Ponguleti paid homage to Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao (NTR), the founder of TDP, during the visit. He acknowledged TDP’s role in opposing the ruling BRS party and working tirelessly to end family rule in the state. Despite political differences, he emphasized the shared objectives of the TDP and Congress and assured TDP cadre of full support.
Notably, Ponguleti Srinivasa Reddy’s unexpected praise for TDP has raised eyebrows, considering his close association with Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan’s family. The response from the BRS and YSRCP parties, known for their rivalry, remains uncertain in light of these political comments.
