Hyderabad: Former Telangana Chief Minister and BRS Chief KCR officially assumed the role of MLA for Gajwel today, administering the oath under the guidance of Assembly Speaker Gaddam Prasad. KCR emerged victorious in the recent Telangana Assembly elections, securing the MLA seat for the Gajwel constituency. After a considerable hiatus, KCR made his presence felt in the Assembly today, receiving a warm welcome from BRS leaders present on the floor and the party’s MLAs at large.
A sizable crowd of KCR’s supporters and the general public gathered at the Assembly to witness the oath-taking, leading to a significant commotion outside the premises. Following the assembly session, a special ceremony is scheduled to take place at the BRS Party office in Hyderabad before KCR assumes his responsibilities. The event is expected to be attended by a substantial number of the party’s MLAs and MLCs.
