Kurnool: YS Sharmila, the leader of the Andhra Pradesh Congress, emphasized the necessity of another battle for the state, expressing concerns over the diminishing respect for the people of the state. Speaking at a party workers’ meeting in Kurnool, she strongly criticized the YSRCP regime.

Sharmila pointed out the inconsistency in Chief Minister Jagan’s actions, highlighting his past hunger strike for special category status and contrasting it with his lack of efforts after assuming power. She asserted that the government has failed to fulfill its promises, and if the special category status had been achieved, the state would have witnessed a surge in industries and job opportunities, with Kurnool serving as the judicial capital.

Addressing the audience, Sharmila questioned the delayed implementation of the job calendar promised every January 1, implying that job notifications are now surfacing due to the upcoming elections. She urged the people to contemplate the future of the state and advocated for decisive action for the welfare of Andhra Pradesh, emphasizing that there is no comparison to Jagan’s rule in the pursuit of YSR’s legacy.
