Hyderabad: On January 27, Kotla Arunakumari, a member of the Telangana State Public Service Commission (TSPSC), tendered her resignation from the position. The resignation letter was addressed to Governor Tamilisai Soundararajan, accompanied by an additional letter outlining Arunakumari’s career achievements, decisions made during her tenure as a Commission member, and the motivations behind her resignation.
Arunakumari clarified in the letter that she had no involvement, either directly or indirectly, in the TSPSC paper leak, a matter concerning other members. Despite her colleagues resigning, she emphasized her non-affiliation with any political party. Formerly serving as a special grade deputy collector and joint director in the Survey Department of Bhubharati, Arunakumari voluntarily resigned from her position. In the letter, she asserted her innocence and maintained that there was no reason for her to resign from the TSPSC post.
