Tillu Square, starring Star Boy Siddhu Jonnalagadda, is one of the highly anticipated sequels among small films because the first part ‘DJ Tillu’ emerged as a sleeper hit. The non-stop entertainment and Siddhu’s maverick histrionics proved to be the unique selling point for the film.
Tillu Square was initially supposed to hit the screens in Summer last year. However, due to multiple delays and reshoots, the release was postponed several times. Also, due to release of big-budget films like Salaar forced the makers to defer the release plans.
Now, the team has finally locked March 29th as the new release date. As NTR’s Devara is likely to be pushed ahead from April 5th, Tillu Square has targeted the Good Friday holiday. This is an ideal date and will help the film garner good numbers because of festival holidays like Ugadhi and Ramazan fall in the first two weeks.
Directed by Mallik Ram, the film has Anupama Parameshwaran as the female lead. Sitara Entertainment banner is bankrolling this film.
