President Murmu praised the Ayodhya Ram Temple inauguration, considering it a landmark in India’s rediscovery of its civilizational heritage. She commended the construction process following judicial procedures and the court’s decision, emphasizing the people’s faith and trust in the judicial system.
The president acknowledged India’s progress towards gender equality with the passage of the Women’s Reservation Bill and anticipated the revolutionary impact of the Nari Shakti Vandan Adhiniyam on women’s empowerment and governance improvement.
President Murmu expressed confidence in India’s economic growth, citing the highest GDP growth rate among major economies in recent years. She addressed the unprecedented technological changes during the “Amrit Kaal,” emphasizing the need to remove hurdles for the youth to unleash their potential in areas like Artificial Intelligence and machine learning.
The president lauded India’s achievements in space exploration, mentioning the Moon mission, Solar explorer Aditya L1, and the Gaganyaan mission. She highlighted India’s role in the G20 Summit, positioning the country as the voice of the Global South.
President Murmu anticipated improved performances by Indian sportspersons in the Paris Olympics and celebrated India’s best-ever Asian Games performance. She also acknowledged the New Education Policy’s emphasis on bridging the digital divide.
