Bollywood star hero Ranbir Kapoor who delivered a blockbuster like Animal is carefully selecting his next set of movies. The hero who is known for delivering at least two duds after a blockbuster is now being scrutinized by movie experts on his upcoming lineup.
Ranbir Kapoor has okayed a huge series of Ramayana which is being directed by Nitesh Tiwari. Sai Pallavi will appear as Sita Maa and Sandalwood rockstar Yash might don the role of Ravana. This huge project will be made into a three-part series and the first part will be out in the mid-2025. After this, he will move on to Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Love and War’ which also stars his wife Alia Bhatt and Vicky Kaushal. Also, he has the most hyped sequel ‘Animal Park’ in his lineup under the direction of Sandeep Reddy Vanga.
Despite such an impressive lineup, cine-goers point out his jinx of scoring flops after a blockbuster. According to them, the lineup that starts with Ramayan should be made careful since Adipurush bombed. Next, the movie Love and War by Sanjay Leela Bhansali is a modern take on Raj Kapoor’s Sangam so the makers have to check if the story is relevant to the modern era. Last but not least, Animal Park will only happen when Sandeep Vanga completes his Spirit with Prabhas. On top of this, one knows whether audiences will still grip Animal Fever for that long.
