Amaravati: Sankranti festivities are in full swing in the Telugu states, ushered in by the bhogi celebrations today, creating a lively atmosphere from early morning. The day is marked by gatherings of relatives and friends, bonfires, intricate rangavallis, playful kites, and delightful flour dishes, as the people of Telugu states revel in the grandeur of Sankranti.
The CM’s camp office in Tadepalli also witnessed Sankranti celebrations, featuring a specially designed platform resembling a temple. CM Jagan, accompanied by his wife, participated in the festivities. The programs showcased Telugu culture and traditions, with CM Jagan and YS Bharathi observing the cultural reflections. YS Bharathi performed a puja to Gomata, and later, a bonfire was ignited.
CM Jagan, donned in a white shirt, white panche, and a scarf on his shoulder, actively took part in special pujas alongside his wife. Extending his wishes, CM Jagan expressed hopes for a happy and prosperous life and well-being for all Telugu people, marking the joyous occasion of Sankranti.
