Guntur TDP leader Rayapati Ranga Rao tendered his resignation today, accompanied by a strong condemnation of Chandrababu and Nara Lokesh. In a forceful statement, he labeled both father and son as thieves, physically expressing his discontent by thrashing Chandrababu’s photograph on the ground at his office.
Ranga Rao alleged enduring significant mistreatment since joining the TDP, claiming that Rs 150 crore was taken for elections, and he asserted possessing detailed records of financial transactions. He emphasized the need to take action to assist individuals like himself, accusing the TDP leadership of causing their downfall.
Discrediting Chandrababu’s claims about Polavaram and development, Ranga Rao characterized the TDP as not a political party but as “Bewars” (people who misuse others). He contended that the party was established more as a business venture for the benefit of the leadership and their family members rather than for the people.
