A delegation from the Central Election Commission is currently on a tour of Andhra Pradesh. Headed by Chief Election Commissioner Rajeev Kumar, the high-level team arrived in Vijayawada last night to review election preparations and address complaints from various political parties regarding the voter list. The officials plan to meet with representatives from each political party, allocating 15 to 20 minutes for discussions.
As part of this schedule, TDP leader Chandrababu Naidu and Jana Sena Chief Pawan Kalyan met with CEC officials at Novotel Hotel, joined by leaders from BJP, CPM, BSP, and AAP. During these meetings, opposition leaders voiced concerns to the CEC about irregularities in the state’s voter list.
