Amaravati: YS Sharmila’s entry into the Congress has sparked intense discussions in Andhra Pradesh politics, with considerable speculation about her impact on the YSRCP. In response to this, Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy, the chief advisor to the AP government, made noteworthy comments.
He asserted that TDP chief Chandrababu played a role in Sharmila’s decision to join the Congress but emphasized that it would not harm the YSRCP. Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy expressed a lack of concern about the future of the Congress in AP, stating, “We will not pay attention to that party.” Additionally, he acknowledged Sharmila’s right to contest from any constituency.
