Amaravati: Former Indian cricketer Ambati Rayudu, who recently joined the YSR Congress Party, has announced his departure from the party and a temporary withdrawal from politics. Despite not specifying the reasons, Rayudu stated on social media that he would reveal his future plans in due time.
The cricketer retired from the Indian Premier League (IPL) in 2023 and had entered politics just a week ago by joining the YSRCP in Andhra Pradesh. His decision to leave the party comes after joining in the presence of Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy and other prominent figures.
