New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi celebrated ‘Veer Bal Diwas’ at Bharat Mandapam after hosting a Christian community delegation on Christmas Day. He reiterated his commitment to ‘Sabka Saath.’ The government organized nationwide programs to educate citizens, especially children, about the bravery of Sahibzades.
A digital exhibition and a film on Sahibzades’ sacrifice will be showcased, along with online competitions on MYBharat and MyGov portals. December 26 was declared ‘Veer Bal Diwas’ in honor of the martyrdom of Sahibzadas Baba Zorawar Singh Ji and Baba Fateh Singh Ji, following the Prakash Purab of Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji on January 9, 2022.
