Hyderabad: In an exclusive statement, Nara Lokesh sheds light on the inception of the Yuvagalam Padayatra, a unique initiative aimed at addressing the concerns of the youth in the wake of the 2019 government transition. Nara Lokesh, sharing insights, stated, “With the change in government in 2019, the YSRCP administration swiftly implemented unilateral measures, neglecting the challenges faced by the youth and suppressing their voices at every juncture.
Distressed youth approached me, revealing instances where legal actions were taken against them for their social media posts. They expressed the urgent need for a platform to voice their concerns.” Motivated by the youth’s plea for a platform, Lokesh initiated the Yuvagalam Padayatra, intending to make the government cognizant of the challenges faced by the younger generation.
However, what started as an effort to amplify youth voices quickly evolved into a powerful and resonant movement for the people of Andhra Pradesh within a mere 45 days of its commencement. The Yuvagalam Padayatra stands as a testament to the youth’s collective call for attention to their issues, turning into a significant voice that resonates across Andhra Pradesh
