BRS MLA Kadiyam Srihari Fires On Governor Tamilisai

Tuesday, November 5, 2024

Hyderabad: Hyderabad: Former minister and BRS MLA, Kadiyam Srihari, expressed disappointment with the Governor’s recent speech, stating that it lacked innovation and failed to outline a clear path for development. Speaking to the media, Srihari criticized the absence of a comprehensive plan for achieving progress, likening the speech to reading the Congress manifesto.

He emphasized that the Governor’s address seemed to function as an escape route for the Congress from the promises it made during the elections. Srihari argued that the speech overlooked the achievements of Telangana over the past decade, portraying the state as regressing. He highlighted the oversight of commendations from NITI Aayog and central government awards, as well as the Governor’s failure to acknowledge progress in grain production and IT exports.

Disputing the claim of Telangana’s liberation, Srihari emphasized the people’s role in achieving statehood in 2014. He criticized the Congress for not providing details on implementing guarantees, the absence of mention of Dalit Bandhu, and the lack of discussion on farmer crop bonuses.
