Hyderabad: Former Minister and Medchal MLA Malla Reddy found himself facing a case, accused of the unlawful acquisition of a 47-acre land in Keshavaram village, Muduchinthalapalli Mandal. This particular land is designated for tribal communities. In response to these allegations, Malla Reddy has vehemently denied any involvement or necessity for encroaching on tribal lands, categorically dismissing all accusations as baseless.
Addressing the media, Malla Reddy suggested that intermediaries in land transactions might be responsible for the illegal occupation of tribal lands. He went on to express his belief that the filing of the case against him was not connected to the Congress government.
