Hyderabad: Shortly after assuming the role of Chief Minister, Revanth Reddy is implementing significant changes in the police department, leading to the transfer of IPS officers. Kothakota Srinivas Reddy is now the Hyderabad Police Commissioner, Avinash Mohanty assumes the role of Cyberabad CP, and Sudheer Babu takes charge as Rachakonda CP. Sandeep Sandilya has been designated as the Director of the Narcotics Bureau.
There are indications of imminent widespread transfers within IAS and IPS ranks. Conversely, Chauhan, the former Rachakonda CP, and Stephen Ravindra, the former Cyberabad CP, have been directed to report to the DGP’s office without specific assignments. Notably, positions have yet to be allocated for both of them. Sandeep Sandilya, previously the Hyderabad CP, has now assumed the position of Director of the Narcotics Bureau.
