Hyderabad: Founder of Lok Satta, Jayaprakash Narayan, suggested implementing a system to levy penalties for citizen delays in work. During an interview, Narayan mentioned he refrains from criticizing politicians, understanding the challenges they face in gaining public attention.
He asserted that displacing KCR is not synonymous with democracy; instead, true democracy entails decentralization, transparent governance, implementation of the Right to Information Act, and ensuring access to education and healthcare. Narayan emphasized that imposing heavy taxes is not a viable means of generating additional revenue.
