The High Court questioned the Andhra Pradesh government on why the Government Orders were not being uploaded on the Website. On the bench, Justice Dhiraj Singh Thakur and Justice R Raghunandan Rao said that the GOs should be made available for everyone. The bench wondered why the GOs were not put on the official website.
Several PILs were presented before the court after the government decided to take down the GOIR website and only upload select GOs on the AP e-gazette website. Ambati Sudhakar Rao, Y Balaji, K Indraneel Babu, PVG Umesh Chandra, and Srikanth pleaded with the bench to take up the petitions as they have been pending for a long time.
When questioned, special government pleader C Sumon informed the bench that they were uploading the GOs on the website a day after they were issued. The High Court directed the government pleader counsel to submit complete details on the issue and posted the final hearing to November 22nd.
