Congress Senior leader Madhu Yashki’s house was raided by the Police and the election flying squad at midnight. Madhu Yashki is the Congress candidate for the LB Nagar constituency and his house in Hayat Nagar was raided at midnight. The raids were conducted as the Police got information that Madhu Yashki was hoarding a substantial amount of cash in his residence.
Madhu Yashki, however, denied the accusations and in return accused the Police actions were politically motivated and stated that he would file a formal complaint with the Election Commission against the Police. He criticized that the Police carried out the searches without any proper warranty.
On the other hand, searches by IT officials are being carried out on prominent political leaders like Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy, Sabitha Indra Reddy, etc. The elections will be conducted in Telangana on November 30th and the counting will be done on December 3rd.
