New Strategy – Leak Songs to Know Public Pulse

A few weeks ago, a rough version of a folk song from Ram Charan’s long-awaited film Game Changer was leaked online. The song lyrics went viral on social media and received decent reactions from music lovers.

Meanwhile, the team of Game Changer quickly responded and lodged a complaint with the cyber crime department to catch the offenders. However, there is no news on who was behind the leak. The official full version of the song will be out for Diwali.

Now, a song bit from Mahesh Babu’s upcoming film ‘Guntur Kaaram’ has been leaked by some unknown persons and it is currently going viral on all platforms. Surprisingly, this song is set to be officially unveiled in a few more days. The main culprit behind the leak is not yet known.

Coincidentally, SS Thaman is the music composer for both these songs. There is a lot of pressure on him to come up with good compositions because his recent works failed to reach high expectations.

It is quite baffling that audio songs from big-ticket films are getting leaked directly from the recording rooms before their official release without the knowledge of the producers. One thing is sure those who are working with the teams are behind these leaks as no outsider could get access to the rough versions of these songs.

One doubt that frequently arises is whether these leaks are intentionally done just to know about the reaction of fans and music lovers.

As there will be high expectations for songs in big-budget films, it cannot be ruled out the production houses might resort to such tactics just to test the initial response before releasing the full versions of songs and also to create additional hype by teasing the audience.

As the leaked song from Game Changer got a positive response, Shankar and his team decided to go ahead and release the full song for Diwali. Now, the makers of Guntur Kaaram might also do the same. It looks like this is a new strategy.
