In a huge setback to the Telangana BJP, Ex MP Vivek Venkataswamy has resigned from the party and chosen to join the Congress party. Today he met AICC Former President Rahul Gandhi in Hyderabad and joined Congress. Revanth Reddy stated that he had invited Vivek to the party to which he responded positively. Revanth Reddy welcomed him with open hands.
Vivek Venkataswamy has sent the resignation letter to the BJP High Command. Vivek was previously associated with the Congress party when the Telangana agitation happened. He credited Sonia Gandhi for fulfilling the wishes of the Telangana people.
This decision is a double blow for the Telangana BJP after Komatireddy Raj Gopal Reddy left the party as well and joined the Congress and now Vivek Venkataswamy also leaving the party is going hard to dealt with.
