Director Prasanth Varma’s visual extravaganza Hanu-Man is billed as the first superhero film of the country. It is based on Lord Hanuman and stars Teja Sajja in the lead role. The film has been delayed due to extensive post-production activities.
The makers announced long back that Hanu-Man will hit the screens on January 12th worldwide in multiple languages. However, there have been numerous rumours that the film will back out from the Sankranthi race as many other big-ticket films are lined up for release during the festival season. Now, it is clear that the team is refusing to bow down from the race.
However, there seems to be no change in the release date. On the eve of Dusshera, a new poster is unveiled and it has Teja twirling his moustache. We can notice a man standing in front of him through his glasses. There is an effigy of Ravana in the backdrop as well. Actor Vinay Rai plays the prime antagonist in the film.
Hanu-Man is carrying impressive reports after the scintillating teaser that was released a few months back. It is the first film in Prasanth Varma’s cinematic universe and he intends to come up with a series of films.
Produced by Niranjan Reddy, the film boasts an ensemble cast and a strong technical team.
