‘Hi Nanna’ teaser : ‘Father’ falls in ‘Love’

Natural Star Nani’s upcoming film ‘Hi Nanna’ is billed as an emotional rollercoaster ride revolving around a doting father and a lovely daughter.

The teaser of this film is out this Sunday morning and it promises a heartwarming tale brimming with emotions featuring the trio of Nani, Baby Kiara, and Mrunal Thakur. Directed by Shouryuv, the film is confirmed to hit the screens worldwide on December 7th in multiple languages.

Running at just over 90 seconds, the teaser of Hi Nanna strikes a good balance between a feel-good romance and an emotional drama. Nani seems to be playing the role of a caring single father who falls in love with Yashna played by Mrunal Thakur. What circumstances made Nani get married again appear to form the core narrative.

The teaser starts with a funny and incomplete conversation between Nani and his daughter at their dinner table. This is followed by some adorable moments between the duo. They are like best friends says Kiara. After Mrunal enters the scene, the story shifts towards the romantic genre.

The chemistry between the lead pair is so pleasing and gorgeous. However, conflict arises when Nani questions Mrunal’s character as she expresses her love for him just a few hours before getting married to some other person. Ultimately, he falls in love with him.

Nani is as usual at his versatile best in a character which is tailor made for him. Mrunal looks so glamourous and emotes well.

Director Shouryuv seems to be presenting a poignant drama infused with a fair bit of sentiment and romance. The dialogues are effective and touching.

Happening composer Hesham Abdul Wahab did a fabulous job by coming up with a soul-stirring score that fits the mood of the teaser. The cinematography looks very enticing.
