The former IT minister and the Telugu Desam Party general secretary Nara Lokesh has postponed his Yuvagalam Padayatra which has to be resumed from September 29.
The TDP has been facing a tough time in Andhra Pradesh with back-to-back cases filed on the supremo Chandrababu Naidu. Lokesh name has also been included recently in the Amaravati IRR scam case and the speculations are rife that TDP’s scion will also be taken into custody the moment he lands in the state. It seems like the AP CID is all set and ready for immediate action on Lokesh. Taking all these into consideration, the senior leaders of the party have advised Lokesh to postpone his Yatra and focus completely on the cases that were pending in the Supreme Court and High Court.
The AP state president K Atchannaidu wrote a letter to Lokesh advising him to continue his legal battle from Delhi and focus only on the cases that were illegally put on Chandrababu Naidu. He also mentioned that the senior leaders in the party opine that being with the legal time in Delhi is more important him than resuming padayatra tomorrow. With this letter, Lokesh seems to have changed his decision and will be for a while in Delhi consulting the legal experts regarding the cases on CBN.
