AP CPS Employees SERIOUS Warning To CM Jagan over GPS

Monday, November 25, 2024

The Andhra Pradesh state legislative assembly today passed the Guaranteed Pension Scheme (GPS)-2023 on Wednesday which sparked a huge uproar among the employees. Finance Minister Buggana Rajendranath Reddy on this occasion stated that if the Old Pension Scheme is to be continued then the government will not be able to pay the salaries in the next 10 years.

However, with the state assembly passing the newly formulated Scheme, the AP CPS employees have expressed their displeasure about the decision. The employees have raised objections to the new scheme. “Though the scheme has Guaranteed Pension Scheme, it doesn’t explain in detail about how the government will bear guarantee for the retired employees,” says one of the frustrated AP CPS employees.

The employees have warned YS Jagan that if the Old Pension Scheme is not implemented by the state government as promised then they will answer with the vote. They have alleged that the government and JAC have planned this to cheat the government employees.
